As we venture into 2013 many are saying that this is the year it will all come together for those Ophiuchus and Scorpius natives who have done and are doing their due diligence (research), homework on the physical plane and the emotional clearing energy work and that would be me saying this of course!
However 2013 is to mark the year of the snake? The Chinese New Year is February 10, 2013 and so I am not surprised that we will see the release of this new movie The Sorcerer and the White Snake on February 8, 2013.
The story of this movie is based on an old Chinese legend about an herbalist who falls in love with a thousand-year-old White Snake disguised as a woman. Jet Li stars as a sorcerer who discovers her true identity and battles to save the man's soul. I love the power Jet Li expresses as he uses and wields his power! awesome spectacle of what each of us is capable of once we learn to wield our own power watch the trailer!
Now from an astrological perspective the numeration of the year 2013 adds up to the single digit 6. 6 is a Solar number, the Heart of the Tree of Life, and the Key to the Wisdom Path of Duality Seeking Unity. We can apply these ideas to Ophiuchus in 2013 in many ways.
This year the inter dependence of Scorpio and Ophiuchus is acknowledged on various levels as these two Archetypes relate to each other.
The Year the Scorpion is morphed into the body of a Serpent and Merged into a fully empowered triplex of Constellations whose aim and imperative is to Heal and bring Wisdom, thus:
OPHIUCHUS the body of the Serpent Holder, the Astrologically-unacknowledged 13th Zodiac Constellation. SERPENS the Northern Serpent of Wisdom — a dragon-serpent, resonating as it does with Constellation Draco in the North — lying North of the Zodiac Belt, North of the Equator and North of the Galactic Equator, and crowned by Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown SCORPIUS as Ophiuchus’s Southern Serpent of Wisdom (Water Snake) lying South of the Equator, South of the Zodiac Belt, and South of the Galactic Equator, crowned by Corona Australis, the Southern Crown also South of the Galactic Equator.
Now Ophiuchus is located opposite Orion in the sky. Ophiuchus is depicted as a man grasping a serpent; the interposition of his body divides the snake constellation Serpens into two parts, Serpens Caput and Serpens Cauda, which are nonetheless counted as one constellation.
Ophiuchus straddles the equator but lies predominately to its south. Rasalhague, a fairly conspicuous star in its north, is circumpolar north of 78° north latitude and invisible south of 78° south latitude. The constellation extends southward to -30° declination, so the constellation can never be seen in full even in such places as Anchorage, Reykjavík, and Helsinki north of 60° north latitude. Segments of the ecliptic that lie within Ophiuchus lie south of -20° declination and are thus invisible north of 70° north latitude.

The £8m ($13m) project, headed by the British Antarctic Survey (Bas), aimed to drill carefully down using near-boiling water to pierce the lake, which has been untouched for as much as half a million years. Again this is a story created to mirror celestial events and is more likely a ritual of sorts as the UK to name part of Antarctica Queen Elizabeth Land! or more importantly in recognition of the rulers of this illusory planet earth.
The territory, covering 169,000 sq miles - almost twice the size of the UK - was previously unnamed, the Foreign Office said. "This is a fitting tribute at the end of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee year? again it's a ritual of sorts to mark the year of the snake, Ophiuchus constellation so we will be hearing a lot about the Antarctic this year is my guess? Now 2013 can be looked at as the Year the Male and Female aspects of Ophiuchus merge to co-create and activate the Ether element which is synthesis that is rather the source of all elements before they are broken down in the Duality that exists on the physical plane.
Therefore I leave you with this May 2013 be the year you reclaim your power and choose to create a Utopian Society of your creation by wielding your innate gifts and power to create worlds, and or if you dare to nothing my question to you is will you watch and wait by the sidelines for the world which is being created for you the one you know so well as does most of humanity become a planet raging in dystopia! only to look back and ponder in some time in the illusory future that you wish you had made different choices?
